Fixed Fights in MMA!!

This is my first fanpost on BE, after riding the fence between BE and Mania for 3 years I finally made my decision to make this place my bloody home.

Have you ever watched an MMA fight and thought to yourself "was this fight was fixed?" I remember the first time I pondered this question it was at UFC 75 when Michael Bisping was victorious over Matt Hamill. I literally couldnt believe what I was seeing. Hamill had smashed Bispings face for three rounds and somehow lost the fight. I remember trying to jump through my TV in an attempt to strangle Bisping as he celebrated his undeserved win. I immediately thought the fight was fixed but the UFC brass assured us all that  the blame for the "decision" was the product of piss poor judging. Some argued the UFC played a hand in the decision in order to successfully promote Bisping as the new poster boy for the newly emerging UK audience. Whether or not this is all poppycock is not the question I am posing. As a fan I reach out to my fellow fans to ask an important question. How much "fixing" if any do you think exists in  MMA? For example...Do Dana and Joe  pressure fighters to fight a certain way? Such as keeping the fight on the feet, or ensuring a certain number of rounds are fought? While I think these scenarios are possible (look at boxings past) most argue with me that fixed fights are a thing of the past. I beg to differ, for example while I understand that Strikeforce was operated completely different from UFC, I cant help but to think quite a few of their fights were fixed, especially the ones featuring Kevin Ferguson. These are the most obvious instances I can think of outside of the UFC (Not including Pride because those fights were obviously tampered with) So come on fans let me have it! Am I a conspiracy theorist or have you ever suspected a little foul play in MMA?
