Press conference starting. Urijah taking a picture of the media.

Looks like Dave Scholler is running this one. Nice purple shirt.

Tito looks pissed.

Ortiz: I'm approaching this like any other fight. Thinking about getting my hand raised.I wonder why Dana isn't here.

Cruz: As I've gotten older, I've put on a little weight. My weight's under control, though.

Bader: I was getting by with a certain skill set. The loss to Jones made me go back to the drawing board.

Cruz: Faber's done a lot for the sport in the lighter weight classes, but I'm not jealous.

Cruz: I'm ready for questions about my loss to Faber to stop.Faber: I walk around heavier at 135 pounds.

Cruz: I've definitely been touched in my fights. I've walked out with black eyes, cuts.

Silva: I can't believe how much the sport has changed in the 1.5 years I've been off.

Leben: I hope (Wanderlei's taking me lightly). I'm training like this guy's trying to destroy me to prove he's Wanderlei Silva.

Ortiz: There's no better fight promotion than the UFC. Dana does a great job.

Silva: I fight for KO, Fight of the Night.

Leben: I watched Wanderlei 10 years ago. I didn't want to fight him 10 years ago.

Ortiz: I watch Georges St. Pierre all the time. He's dead amazing.

Wanderlei: The level of the sport is growing so fast.

Faber: I remember watching Ortiz in high school. Impressed with Tito's charisma, thinking Wanderlei is going to kill everyone.

Faber: I'm very impressed with Jose Aldo, Jon Jones. I'm impressed with the minds of a lot of the young guys.

Bader: There's still pressure even though I'm not undefeated. I don't want to lose another fight.

Cruz: I think the bigger Octagon will definitely help me.

Faber: I didn't notice the size of the cage in my last fight.

Silva: It's more comfortable to fight in Vegas. I sleep in my own bed. My students, my family come out.

Faber: It's nice for the confusion to be gone. (re: WEC assimilation)

Cruz: Without the WEC, I wouldn't have had a name in the first place.

Leben: We are entertainers. I hate watching guys who fight not to lose. I'm going to try to beat him.

Tito (to Ariel): I never said he said weak wrestling. Why are you trying to start s**t?

I remember Leben sounding slurry before the Stann fight, but he sounds good now.

Bader: I know I can beat anyone on any given day.

Ortiz: I learned this in high school, rankings don't mean s**t. I don't pay attention to the betting board.

Ortiz: I just want to show that I'm still a dominant force in the LHW division.

Ortiz: My speed has improved coming off back/neck surgery.

Leben: I'm a grunt. I'd probably be putting up a roof or framing if I wasn't a fighter.
