Is he going to turn out to be one of those guys
Who is more talented than anyone chosen for TUF…and probably would have worked out better in the long run as a name/star if they had showcased him on the show?
Georges St-Pierre vs. Anderson Silva
this happened to a fighter who i know too!
can’t reveal the name but a fighter who i personally know tried out for TUF and UFC told him that he doesn’t even have to go through TUF and invited him to UFC right away.
he has some personal issues so he cant fight for a while but UFC told him to get a couple of fights to get his confidence back then ufc will sign him right away.
Matt "The Terror" Serra!!!!
If any amateur MMA organization in NE is looking for an Asian fighter, let me know =)

Tell me about it
I know my older brother wants to get into MMA…he’s taken a few jiu jitsu classes, but still pretty far off, since he’s still finishing college and whatnot. He’s the one that got me into watching MMA, so I’d love to see him pull it off.

Cool sure
But it speaks volumes about the UFC’s attitude towards TUF. Its for fringe prospects not good prospects. Too bad really.
Yeah
I don’t like how that’s the way they are going.
It shouldn’t go to those fringe prospect type guys…they should completely structure it around making names for big time prospects.

Basically
If you try out, you shouldn’t be ‘too good’ for TUF.
I mean, unless you are like a big time established name…Hector Lombard shouldn’t make it into the next MW season.

It seems like..
since Mac Danzig nuked the competition on his TUF season, that they’ve shied away from allowing any fighter with a little name recognition to be on it
