Join us here at BloodyElbow.com as we watch Bellator Fighting Championships usher in a new, abbreviated season called Summer Series Saturday night on MTV 2. This mini-season will feature just one tournament which will be contested at featherweight. They definitely went all-out in terms of contestants for this season, bringing in the current # 5 featherweight in the SBN/USA Today rankings, Marlon Sandro. Lightweight tournament winner Pat Curran and season 5 lightweight contestant Nazareno Malegarie have made the drop to 145 and is entered here as well, along with highly-touted Luis Palomino and Ronnie Mann. Saturday's card will feature all four quarter-final matchups for the tournament.
