A dominating athlete returns, and nobody notices

You might be surprised to know that Cael Sanderson, the most dominate wrestler in US History returned to competition recently for the first time since he won the gold medal at the 2004 Olympics.  In March after losing a bet with the Penn State Wrestling team that he coached to a National Championship this year, he entered and won the Northeast regional.  By winning that tournament he earned the right, and decided to compete for a spot at on the US World Championship team.  Naturally, he ran the table and won, earning the right to compete at this years World Championships.  I've just been stunned, that this story hasn't gotten any press at all outside of USA Wrestling's web site.

Sanderson is one of the few wrestlers out there who has name recognition with the casual sports fan, after going undefeated in college, and winning a gold medal.  Now he is making a comeback, and it seems like no one really cares.
