I have always felt like the public proposal was kind of a dick move. I mean come on, one of three things will happen:
1) She says “yes” and means it. Hooray!
2) She says “yes” and doesn’t mean it. She only says it to not humiliate you and then breaks the bad news to you later all while browbeating you for having the audacity to do that publicly.
3) She straight up says “no” humiliating you in front of your chosen audience and then browbeats you later for having the audacity to do that publicly. Also, you break up.
I don’t like those odds.

I could not agree more, I think a lot of public proposals are when you have already talked about it and know she will say yes, but there is so much pressure for her to say yes then. It is not fair or romantic at all.
Little different but I hate when a guy proposes at a sporting event because even if she willing says yes then you are stuck there for the rest of the game not really able to like celebrate their engagement with affection because they are at a sporting event…

I saw the fight live and I’ll be honest, her screaming completely ruined the fight for me. I have no problem with women supporting their men (in fact, I encourage it) but when they are screaming over the fans and the announcers, its a little too much.
Call me a hater but I look forward to a Lombard matchup just so I can see the look on her face when Lombard steals his soul.
