With Richie Whitson having to withdraw due to an injury, MMAWeekly is reporting that Pete Spratt (22-19) will step in to set up a rematch with Marcus Davis (18-8) at MFC 30 in Edmonton on June 10th. Davis previously submitted Spratt at UFC 69.

In other MFC 30 news, the MFC webpage announced that Dhiego Lima (5-0), younger brother of MFC welterweight champion Douglas Lima, has signed a 4-fight deal with the promotion and will fight Jamie Toney (14-6) on the main card.

Current MFC 30 card:
Drew Fickett vs. Hermes Franca (for vacant LW title)
Marcus Davis vs. Pete Spratt
Curtis Demarce vs. Robert Washington
Sheldon Westcott vs. Thomas Denny
Dhiego Lima vs. Jamie Toney

Is the Davis Spratt fight at 155 or 170?

I believe Davis was originally scheduled to face Whitson at 155, but the fight with Spratt will be at 170. I’m not 10000% on that, but Spratt’s never fought at 155 to my knowledge.

I was about to say that Davis is probably moving back up in weight for this one. I treating rematch. Spratt’s record ain’t the best, but I believe he’s been doing pretty well in MFC lately.
