According to MMAWeekly.com, DREAM and Cage Rage veteran Zelg Galesic has signed with Bellator to participate in the season five middleweight tournament.
Galesic defeated Lee Chadwick via knockout at an event in Liverpool, England in March following two losses under the DREAM banner to Kazushi Sakuraba and Ronaldo Souza.
The 32-year-old striker will join a cast that includes Alexander Shlemenko, Bryan Baker, Jared Hess, Brian Rogers, Sam Alvey, and Vitor Vianna, who will all vie for the chance to battle Bellator middleweight champion Hector Lombard.

I remember when Zelg was supposed to be the
2nd coming of Cro Cop. : (

He still has that type of power and kicking ability, just piss poor submission defense. Even worse than what Chael Sonnen looked like back in the day. He just cannot stop a guy from blasting through his weak defenses, grabbing a hold of his arm, and yanking.

One of my 2 fav, obscure mma moments came from zelg. The first was the zaromskis backflip, and the other, this:

At first when the foot doesnt land you think “damn, Takimoto sure is lucky”. But by the end, you start to think……..“nuts to the chin. Maybe a quick KO would have been better”
