I read an interview not long ago and Arona said he’s in talks with the UFC but they want him to win a match first (think it was Tatame).

Odd he hasn't gotten on top of that then

He did beat Marvin Eastman in Bitteti since his Pride run, but even that was in 2009. I don’t blame the UFC for wanting him to shake off some ring rust before joining the UFC. It can’t be that hard for him to line up a fight in Brazil against a soft-serve opponent or whatever.
