Both Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva scored wins with the underrated but extremely effective front kick after they trained with Seagal. Before this, a lot of people including myself thought Stephen Seagal was a joke and Aikido was bullshit. Although i still think Aikido is inefficient and very complicated, i respect Seagal for his appreciation for such a simple but yet effective move. A front kick is the jab of kicks, It's quick and straight forward, and because legs are much more powerful then arms, it's extremely effective. Definitely an underrated move and I'm surprised Seagal is the one to bring it into light. Have your opinions of Seagal changed?
