Bad Boy Presents Bloody Elbow Radio: Daniel Straus, GSP/Diaz to TUF?, Bellator 45 Preview

Bloody Elbow Radio, presented by Bad Boy, was live Thursday afternoon to discuss the latest in mixed martial arts. Hosts Matt Bishop, Mike Fagan and Brian Hemminger discussed the Chael Sonnen situation, the possibility of the next season of "The Ultimate Fighter" featuring Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz as coaches and a preview of Bellator 45.

We were joined by Daniel Straus as he prepares to fight Patricio "Pitbull" Freire in the Bellator featherweight tournament final this weekend.

We chatted with Straus about a variety of topics, including what it was like fighting outside in the blistering Arizona heat during his semifinal bout with Kenny Foster, what his mindset is like right now, how he matches up with Pitbull and Bellator featherweight champion Joe Warren and whether he feels any pressure with his current winning streak, which sits at 12 entering the weekend.

"To me, it's not that impressive. Twelve straight wins, to some it can be impressive, but to me, it's really not. Like I said before, you can lose at anytime, so having 12 straight doesn't mean anything. It's about the next fight and the fight you're in. If you win 100 straight fights and you're biggest fight is number 101 and you lose that fight, what does it mean? Those 100 fights didn't mean anything. It's all about what I'm in and the fight I'm in right now."

Bloody Elbow Radio returns at 4 p.m. ET Tuesday with a review of Bellator Season 4 and a preview of UFC 130's preliminary bouts. We're scheduled to be joined by UFC 130 competitor Tim Boetsch.
