The biggest event (sorry UFC 100) in the history of North American MMA is now in the history books and what a night it was. Pablo Garza hit a flying triangle, Jason MacDonald made a successful return to the Octagon from a disgusting leg injury, John Makdessi had a spinning backfist KO, Nate Diaz got rolling german'd down to the prelims by The Waterboy, Ellenberger and Ben Henderson's new tattoo both got impressive wins, Lyoto Machida one upped Anderson Silva, Mark Hominick's head gave birth to an alien creature and in the main event of the evening Georges St. Pierre and Jake Shields challenged me to not fall asleep in what had to be the saddest, most anti-climactic main events ever. I would have rather seen Chandella go into the ring and shoot rabid possums into the crowd out of a t-shirt gun than the stinkfest GSP and Shields gave us. Now, down to business.
