He made his UFC debut at UFC 124 in Montreal, defeating Pat Audinwood by unanimous decision. Bloody Elbow did a Judo Chop feature on Makdessi's use of flashy Taekwondo kicks in that fight.
Kyle Watson has fought throughout the Midwest United States. He appeared on The Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck, and defeated Sako Chivitchian by unanimous decision in the finale. Watson is the head jiu-jitsu instruction at the H.I.T. Squad in Granite City, Illinois.
