I just noticed Jake's dad's awesome line
Jake does what’s unexpected. And I expect him to win this fight.
Doesn’t look good for Jake, then.

Shields wrestling looked pretty good against 205’er Mr. Wonderful

Mr. Wonderful looks weird to me...
He got oustruck in sparring session by 135er Dominick Cruz(confirmed by himself)
Then gets outgrappled by 170er Jake Shields…
Yet he is still a pretty good 205er.
Maybe he just doesn’t wanna go to far in training…

Or maybe he says those things to hype his friends up
You’re thinking exactly what the UFC wants you to think — OMG, Shields is so good he’s dominating a much heavier wrestling champ, GSP might really be in trouble! I don’t doubt that Shields may have gotten the better of Davis at some points during a long sparring session, but the editors showed you what they wanted you to see and not necessarily what happened (also, Davis may have been holding back out of consideration of the weight advantage plus fear of injuring Shields so close to a fight).
That seemed to be a major theme of this Primetime, trying to point out to fans that everyone is sleeping on Shields, that he’s very dangerous to GSP.

Yeah
And GSP held his own with John Donaher on the ground, he landed 100% of strikes on Marquardt with 100% TD effectiveness. He’s also the UnderArmour™ Greatest Person Alive®.
You’re really going off of 20 seconds worth of clips designed to hype Jake Shields?
Not afraid to nitpick
He took him to school on the mat.

I agree on the Shields part...
But the Cruz one seems a little crazy to me…If he can get into Phil’s 79in reach with ease, he’s truely one hell of boxer for bantamweight division.

Phil nurse seems like an all round nice/cool guy.
..and it felt to me that gsp was the more confidant one, shields didnt seem to sure of his own words.
All GSP's coaches seem super cool
Zahabi, Phil Nurse, John Danaher etc.
The only guy I find prickish is of course Greg Jackson.
If you think that Shields has a chance...
You are incorrect. The expression is “A punchers chance” and since Shields has ZERO hands and horrible double and single leg takedowns he is out in the round 1 or 2 and I am being nice.
This is all about dethroning a SF Champ and proving the UFC was better all along.

GSP will take Shields down for sure and probably not vice-versa
BUT, and it’s a big one, once on the mat Jake’s going to reverse positions and get on top. GSP will be on his back
Excited!
Holla if you are a UFC fan and are going to this event!!!!!!
The fact it’s in my backyard is so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm from Canada, and they think I'm slow eh!
Loving the excitement

As long as they don’t just use metal it’s cool.
Primetime series have a good taste for rap music.

i think the Rampage vs Rashad primetime series had the best music of them all
that being said, The Reem documentary is still #1 in my book
I didn't watch all of The Reem documentary
But in one episode they use Jimi Hendrix’s all along the watchtower when he riding a scooter with his girlfriend in Thailand…I thought it was awesome.

GSP’s bjj coach reminds me of some kind of Harry Potter villain that can turn human flesh into ectoplasm. His voice makes me piss my pants.
