UFC 131 will also feature #7 Michihiro Omigawa trying to bounce back against Darren Elkins and #9 Dustin Poirier vs. #15 Rani Yahya.

#2 Hatsu Hioki will take on unranked bantamweight Donald Sanchez on one of the best Japanese cards of the year on April 29.

#4 Manny Gamburyan who had to drop out of his last scheduled fight against #13 Erik Koch is now set to welcome Tyson Griffin to the featherweight division at UFC on Versus 4. That card will also feature Joe Stevenson's first featherweight fight against Javier Vazquez.

Star-divide

Based on the premise that all MMA rankings are subjective but that it’s still useful and informative to know who the online MMA community as a whole ranks as the best fighters in MMA, we collect and average the rankings of the top MMA websites to produce our consensus rankings. We compile the top MMA rankings from each of our sources and award 25 points for a first place ranking, 16 for a 10th place ranking, 1 for a 25th place ranking. A formula is used to "normalize" the data so all fighters are awarded points from those lists that do not include a full 25 fighters. This formula ensures that each ranking site awards the same number of total points regardless of how many fighters they choose to rank. Each fighter’s total is divided by the number of possible points to determine their standing in the Consensus Rankings.

Im really uneducated about the 145ers… I’m really excited about learning about the division, and can’t wait to see how they deal with the 55ers who are dropping down…

One thing to note about these rankings

Is that I think Jordan Breen and I are the only people who updated after Robert Peralta beat Hiroyuki Takaya.

Sounds about right.

I updated as well...

I dropped him about 8 spots. I couldn’t overlook his recent run in Dream.
