anyone know where I can find masvidal's fight(s)?
never knew he was on this too.
not sure what you expected
but those were tough ass fights and tough ass fighters… Ray is a real fighter.
I thought Jorge showed some incredible grit.

I saw one of his fights on Youtube
most obvious fix ever. DaDa was mounted and getting drilled and the ref stood them up.
BOOSH
Do you know who is opponent was? I haven’t seen that fight yet and I want to. Cedric James or Tim Papp?

TERRIBLE standup, followed by one of the most awkward post-fight interviews ever. At least the rest of the promotion acknowledged how bad the stand-up was.

DaDa 5000 mounted before the referee stand-up.

Stupid shit like this. If you’re going to go the illegal route, at least take a note from New York where thinks are slightly safer. Actually, I just looked it up and those fights in New York are legal, just unsanctioned. Do that.

This makes me wonder ...
… what happened to the documentary about this backyard Rakontur was shooting a couple years ago. They’re an indy company making stylish documentaries (Cocaine Cowboys …).
The mma doc is named Dawg Fights, you can still find the trailer on youtube.
Well, anybody who knows me knows I'm no fan of dictionaries or reference books. They're elitist. Constantly telling us what is or isn't true. Or what did or didn't happen.
I'm sure this'll help the older boxing crowd to the sport...
and help differentiate MMA from street fighting. Features such as this will do a lot to legalize the sport in NY too.

@Martial Girl, haha, agreed but I'm not sure which way you mean it:
The shoddiness of the gloves or the fact that the UFC would be pissed their logo is clearly recognized and being associated with this garbage on ESPN?

The UFC may be pissed, and it gives a bad image of the entire sport.

That's what I thought you meant, although it should be noted you can get these fine
UFC MMA gloves at your local KMart.

This is garbage. Not the article, but Dada 5000 and the unsanctioned fights. Curiosity compelled me to watch the fight after the jump, and I really wish Dada had no ties whatsoever to the sport of mma. These unsanctioned fights seem to validate much of the mainstream criticism of the sport for promoting violence.
If anyone gets the chance,
check out the Bruce Leeroy fights. It’s entertaining and honestly, that kid takes a slam like a champ.
