It was total shit. That's really all I can say. I'd go into an in-depth review, but that would require actually watching the rest of this horrendous film.
I got home from work today, hoping to watch the latest episode of Castle on Hulu because I've got a soft spot for hot chicks pretending to be police officers. Also, Nathan Fillion. Anyway, I started up my PS3 only to find that there was no new episode this week. Feeling betrayed and bewildered, I decided to check if there was anything new on Netflix. As I scrolled through the overly detailed recommendation categories, something caught my eye - a 2008 documentary entitled Rage in the Cage. Billed by Netflix as an "intense film document[ing] the sport of cage fighting", I decided to give it a shot, expecting a "realistic feel for the intensity and physical demands of this hard-core sport". I figured that if I couldn't get my weekly fix of witty banter and unresolved sexual tension, I'd settle for some sweaty guys in a cage trying to kill each other.
Those of you with Netflix, check this out, if only to laugh. And you will laugh. Then the laughs will wear off, and you'll cry. At least, I did. Then again, my dad always told me I was a big pussy, so maybe it's just me.
I may be really late to the game, but I did a quick search of the site and couldn't find any mention of this. I wanted to share the horror that is this documentary, so that I don't feel like the only moron who wasted my time watching it.
