UFC veteran Keith Jardine returns to the big leagues and steps in for the injured Mike Kyle to face Gegard Mousasi on just one-week's notice at Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley. The light heavyweight bout was announced by Strikeforce, during Friday night’s Strikeforce Challengers 15 telecast on Showtime. The two fighters will meet on the Showtime televised main card on April 9th in San Diego.

On thur night Strikeforce called my manager about me filling in to fight Mousasi. I've always had trouble turning down a fight. So it looks like I'll be on Showtime next week. I'm excited to be back with Zuffa!
