It's amazing to me the number of MMA events that happen every week.  I've looked at close to 20 already for this coming Friday and Saturday, and that's not counting the scores of smaller, local shows without web pages.  Of course, not many of them are broadcast on television or even streamed online, but the shows that do have that option are the ones we look at here each week.  And the beauty of that is, even on weeks where there aren't any big shows, there is usually at least one smaller promotion streaming an event.  This means that most of the time, we shouldn't have to go more than 6 days without an MMA fix.  That is a beautiful thing for a fan.  And for those of you who ignore the small shows, and only watch the big boys, keep in mind that almost every star you pay $50 to see on PPV got their start fighting in a tiny little local promotion.
