Takeya Mizugaki kind of sucks
Look at this fool’s record. It’s great up until he finally gets to America and fights in the WEC. COMPETITION LACKING IN JAPAN (DREAM).

Where does DREAM even come into the equation with Takeya Mizugaki?

The competition in the WEC is better than the competition on cage force and shooto.
What’s that have to do with DREAM?
If Derek Jeter clubbed a baby seal on earth day while wearing a mink coat and crocodile skin boots while burning tires on an iceberg, the reaction would be "Its OK Derek, you’re a Yankee." -First mammal to wear pants
um, there's quite a lot of Japanese fighters in Dream,
and I thought that would be relevant, since that’s the only worldly popular MMA thing going on over there. I think the competition is lacking in DREAM.

Yeah, Mizugaki sucks for only losing to top five greats in Torres, Jorgensen, and Faber in the last four years. How terrible was he going five rounds in a classic against the number 1 fighter at 135 lbs on late notice in his American debut?
Seriously though and sarcasm aside, Mizugaki vs Bowles should be awesome, and it’s a great fight between two elite 135 lbs.

well
he’s not getting handled with kid gloves but he’s getting lots of opportunities to prove he belongs at the top.
War Mizugaki, love that dude.
Awesome fight, shame it probably won’t make anything higher than Facebook.

great matchup
i expect them to anounce Benevidez vs WIneland soon seing as how they are the only top 10 bantamweights currently without a fight
Benavidez says he doesn't want to fight until fall,
so I imagine he’ll wait for the winner of this one, or possibly Mighty Mouse if he beats Barao.
Mizugaki's record says it all
It’s great if you’re a fan to just be entertained. I didn’t say I thought he was boring. He just isn’t THAT great. He’d kick my ass. LOL

A record isn't only numbers bro.
Only fighters in the top 5 have beat him, and he’s beaten everyone else.
He’s one of the top ten guys in his weight category in the ENTIRE WORLD.
He’s pretty darn good.

If Bowles wins he gets the shot, I imagine. If Mizugaki wins, Kenny Florian will drop to 135 and fight for the belt.

I think if Faber catches the title, it would set up a pretty cool Faber – Bowles fight. I’m not sure if a Bowles – Cruz rematch is hot just yet, but I wouldn’t complain.

Nah, I would say Bowles needs another win.
Torres/ Johnson seems to be the de facto #1 contender match.
