The UFC announced a lightweight matchup today for UFC 132 in Las Vegas in July, featuring two of the division's most dynamic strikers: TUF 9 runner-up, Andre Winner and Anthony Njokuani.
If names like Condit, Cruz, Wandy and Leben on the card weren't guaranteed fireworks, the latest bout should convince you: "Get ready for what should be a standup war as verbal agreements are in for Andre Winner VS Anthony Njokuani July 2nd," said UFC president Dana White.
Winner looks to break free from a .500 record in the UFC after getting choked out by Dennis Siver at UFC 122 back in November, while Njokuani looks for his first UFC victory after dropping a decision to fellow muay thai specialist, Edson Barboza last month at UFC 127.
Here's how the UFC 132 card is shaping up:
-Dominick Cruz vs. Urijah Faber (bantamweight championship)
-Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben
-Carlos Condit vs. Dong-Hyun Kim
-Melvin Guillard vs. Shane Roller
-Tito Ortiz vs. Ryan Bader
-Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman
-George Sotiropoulos vs. Evan Dunham
-Erik Koch vs. Cub Swanson
-Anthony Njokuani vs. Andre Winner
