Helllooo bloody elbow readers. I'm a longtime reader, first time poster here. 

So I was watching the Strikeforce fights last night, sippin' back some cheap beer, when I started drooling over a possible future fight between Paul Daley and Thiago Alves. 

When looking at their stats, fighting styles and overall size, these two fighters are extremely identical. Who do you guys think would win, and what would be the determining factors for a great standup match up like this?

I would think that Alves would eventually wear down Daley and win in some kind of 2nd or 3rd round stoppage.
