He had a pretty good fight against Yves Edwards.
Interesting that Cody is fighting another very experienced veteran of the sport, I can’t see this going well for him.
Thinking the same.
It seems like the UFC wants to cut him. He’s still so 1 dimensional that any veteran should, 9 out of 10 times, beat him. I’m really surprised they aren’t putting him in with newer, greener fighters, match skill levels a bit more since he seems to be decently popular.
The fact of the matter is that Bart Palaszewski is a lower-tier fighter in the UFC, which just goes to show how high the level of competition is in the UFC. If you want newer, greener fighters, then the best place for that is honestly the Strikeforce Challengers Series, and I feel that MacKenzie should be fighting on that show and not the UFC at this time.

I admire Mckenzie’s heart but he’s a one-trick pony who will lose everytime he fights against a decent, well-rounded opponent. Palaszewski by decision.

For sure.
I still want to see the guy fight Paul Sass! 1- dimensional guillotine expert vs. (probably) 1- dimensional triangle specialist.

Sass' stand-up against Holst was so awkward
He looks one-dimensional, which is normal for most British fighters in the UFC.

Just examined his record,
and on a face level, aside from his triangle, he also has a good heel hook (2 wins by it). The way he pulled guard so expertly bodes well for him, but against the real powerhouses of the division, that probably won’t cut it.

If the prelims were on ION
I bet we would be guaranteed more than 2 fights. Show me the Yamamoto fight damn it.

Thiago Alves on the Spike card just seems odd. They should swap his fight with Stefan’s.

I don't think it makes sense either.
It may be due to the fact that heavyweights appeal more to the casual fan.
At least this should mean I get to see Bartimus.
