It’s crazy that Jardine thinks he actually won or could have won this fight. I believe most people thought it was either going to be a Win for Mousasi or a Draw, depending on how the judges scored the first round with the point deduction.

I saw it as a draw

Early aggression for Jardine, plus 4/5 takedowns (even with no damage) showed more ring control…striking was at least somewhat close in the first. Throw in the (premature?) point deduction and I thought it was pretty much in the bag as a 10-8 round.

With that being said, Mousasi absolutely outclassed him the last minute of Round 1, all of 2, and all of 3. It wasn’t a close fight, but Jardine certainly earned his draw by surviving.

Don't let my support confuse you, I am in fact a fan of the Giants.

Wait, DREAM is still going to put on fights? Wow…thought for sure they were done.

I’m noticing that I’m actually not enjoying listening to these interviews, just ‘cause the sound quality is pretty poor. Hopefully Zuffa can steer this up, I much prefer press conference interviews and questions, when the guys have had some time to recover, to interviews right after the fight when they’re exhausted and gotten punched in the head a bunch of times.
