The UFC is currently streaming a preliminary fight from last weekend's UFC Fight Night 24, featuring lightweights, Nik Lentz and Waylon Lowe. The Minnesota Martial Arts Academy-trained Lentz came into the fight with a 4-0-1 UFC record, but had been criticized for a "boring" fight style, and had most recently taken a controversial split decision victory over Tyson Griffin.. Lowe, a strong wrestler originally from Tennessee, but now working with American Top Team in Florida, was also bringing a winning streak into this fight, with consecutive wins over Steve Lopez and Willamy Freire.
With Lentz and Lowe both possessing smothering wrestling skills, many expected those abilities to cancel each other out and force the lightweights into a standup affair. Although the fight never made it onto the Facebook prelim broadcast or the Spike TV main card, UFC officials decided that the action that resulted was worthy of being offered up free of charge on the UFC website.
The video is available here.
Update: It appears that the video may only be available for free to U.S. residents
