In the featherweight division, Mackens Semerzier ended his three fight losing streak by physically dominating "Bruce Leroy" Alex Caceres, eventually scoring a first round rear naked choke victory.
Both men traded leg and head kicks early but once Semerzier initiated a clinch, his strength advantage was obvious.
Semerzier scored an easy takedown and pounded away on Caceres from above. To his credit, Caceres got back to his feet multiple times but Semerzier immediately took him down again each and every time.
The final time Caceres escaped to his feet, Semerzier took him down into full mount and it was only a matter of time from that point on. Semerzier took Caceres' back after some big punches from above and after one last escape attempt from Caceres, Semerzier secured a deep rear naked choke that forced a quick tap from the TUF 12 alumni.
Caceres showed heart in this fight, but he appears to not have the physical strength to hang with the fighters in the UFC.
