Lombard at 22 consecutive fights without a loss. T-10th All-Time
This morning in Australia, [#14] Hector Lombard continued his undefeated streak and stopped [#57] Joe Doerksen in the first round (TKO - Doctor Stoppage).
With this win, Lombard enters the Top 10 All-Time list for the longest undefeated streak in MMA history. This is also tied for 2nd for active streaks. Although impressive, he's still got a long way to catch-up to Travis Fulton, the current record holder.

So sad that one passport snafu prevented this guy from fighting in the UFC.
If it seems like everyone around you is an asshole, you are probably an asshole.
Can you elaborate for those of us who don't know?

Lombard was booked to fight Karo Parisyan at a UFC event back around 2007ish.
Unfortunately, he failed to get a work visa, the fight had to be scrapped, Hector bounced around for a while before getting it sorted out, then he signed an exclusive deal with Bellator.
UFC 78 was suppose to be his debut...instead we were forced to sit through
rashad-bisping and the hype derailing of one Houston alexander.

If the round is too close, it's 10-10, NOT flip a coin 10-9 or late takedown FTW.

It doesn’t count if it doesn’t happen in the UFC. It’s sad, but it’s true.

This is accurate. Lombard is a monster. There’s no way this guy doesn’t get signed by the UFC eventually. Let’s just hope it’s before his run is over, not after like Cro Cop.

How will he get signed and stay undefeated while he's in a exclusive contract with Bellator?

it's not true if he would have fought anyone.
Shlemenko, Starnes, Silva,Jay, Doerkson are not worthy of creating a #12 ranking. Here’s to hoping he loses the belt for Bellator and gets to test the Zuffa waters….finally.

Renan Barao is the UFC and is on a 25 fight streak, the longest active streak
That’s insanely impressive. And he is only 24 years old.
And to think, his first and only loss was his very first fight, and it was a split decision.
It’d be cool to see him tear up the BW division. 15 wins away from the longest streak ever…that would take a while. Anderson debuted in the UFC in June of 2006, he’s 3 months short of 5 years in the promotion and he is at 13 wins.
So maybe if Barao tears it up and never gets injured, he’ll break the record in 2016 :P
Lombard’s streak is impressive either way…even though the competition isn’t anywhere near the top level.
