He needs to fight a real challenger, and soon.

Sooner or later his prime is going to pass him by (he’s 33 already), and it will be a shame if the biggest competition he faces is Kyle Noke, Gono and Mousasi (from 5 years ago).

I hope Bellator is able to bring in someone that will allow Lombard to prove himself amongst the other 185 pounders (and no, I don’t think Falaniko Vitale is the guy to do that).

Guys like Khalidov, Leites, Filho, even Gerald Harris are guys who I’d like to see Bellator go after and pick up

I expected no other result

This is a guy I’d like to see find his way to the UFC, just for his pedigree(as full of unimpressive guys as it is) of going on such a crazy streak, which is a hard thing to do against any level of competition.
