Anthony Johnson, Dan Hardy Ready for War at UFC Fight Night 24

Dan Hardy will look to put a stop to his current 2-fight losing streak when he returns to action against Anthony Johnson in a welterweight co-headliner bout on Saturday at Key Arena in Seattle. Will Rumble be able to shake the Outlaw?

Anthony "Rumble" Johnson talks to MMAHeat.com (after the jump):
"My game plan hasn't changed. Dan, I plan on knocking you out. You're my boy but this is business. He plans on knocking me out too. (His hands) better be up. My hands are going to be up, chin down, something is going to happen. I don't know what, but something is going to happen. I expect it to happen. This is a fight for the first time, I don't expect to go all fifteen minutes. This is about to be a war."

I hope

Hardy is talking honestly when he says he isn’t going to just stand infront of Rumble and swing his arms in his “roll of the dice” style. It got him blasted against Condit and Johnson has the power to do exactly the same here. Hoping for a better outing this time around.
I don’t see him knocking Rumble out, but this one will be entertaining and i’m looking for him to win. War Outlaw!

This is an incredible

card for a Fight Night. I don’t see Hardy beating this beast, but I’ve been wrong many times before.

Rumble looks big (in the face)… I’m very curious to see the weighins. He doesn’t look anywhere close to his fight weight.

I am torn. Part of me wants to see Rumble get back on the winning track and give Dan Hardy the old Carlos Condit Floppy Mohawk KO once more. The other part of me wants to see Dan Hardy knock Anthony the fuck out and send him up to middleweight where he goddamn belongs. Part of me will be sad and part of me will be happy…..sigh.

I’m right there with you, I don’t want to see either of these guys lose right now they can’t afford it.

Man I hope Johnson actually decides to go to MW soon

But he seems to have godly KO power at WW…here’s hoping he blitzes Hardy

If Hardy and Lyoto both lose their next fights, that's 3 in a row for each of them.

If someone told me in March 2010,“Within 2 years, Hardy and Machida are both gonna have 3 losses in a row.”, I would of laughed my ass off.

In the WW division

Hardy losing three in row just sounds like he fought top guys three times in a row.

“…something is going to happen. I don’t know what, but something is going to happen. I expect it to happen.” Listening to interviews with Anthony is amazing.
