Fagan touched on it, but I think this was one of the most powerful clips the UFC has broadcast. An emotional Jim and Dan Miller hug after Jim returns to the locker room following his win and his brother's defeat. While Goldberg implied the emotions were due to Dan's defeat, the bout occurred on what would have been the second birthday of Dan's daughter, who passed away after birth. I'm amazed at the ability to put those emotions out of their minds for 20 minutes and fight in a UFC bout.

Wow….Dan Miller is a strong person to take a fight on such a tragic day in his life. Must be heart breaking to through such a thing, he wasnt just fighting Marquart…he was fighting for his deceased daughter. Hes a true warrior.

Ugh, that’s just brutal. Both great guys, glad Jim pulled out the win. Wonder if Dan could drop to WW. He just looks undersized out there. Of course Nate is a big MW, but still.

A move down would be good for Dan, he was completely undersized in that fight.

It played at the little recap Goldie and Rogan do when discussing Jim. They showed his finish, then showed Jim coming in, hugging Dan then sitting down with his head buried in his hands.
