In the co-main event of UFC 128, Urijah Faber made his long-awaited debut inside the UFC Octagon. Faber, the face of the now-defunct WEC, won a grinding decision over Eddie Wineland, and earned himself a title shot against bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz.

What was the high spot of this fight?

In a fight devoid of any exciting moments, Faber's takedown late in the third round was the most dramatic moment of the bout. With a pair of rounds likely split in the judges' eyes and a flurry away from dropping the third, Faber dug deep and found a takedown that iced the fight.

Where do these guys go from here?

At the press conference, Dana White said that Faber will fight Cruz for the title. The only question now is whether the two will put the belt on hold for 9 months to coach on season 14 of the Ultimate Fighter. Without another contender behind Faber and few other options for coaches, it seems likely that Faber and Cruz will grace our TVs for 13 weeks in the fall.

Eddie Wineland's next fight will probably be on a free TV card or on the untelevised portion of a PPV.

Watch it now, later, or never?

It's worth watching at some point as it's fifteen minutes of Faber at 135 pounds, but there's no rush to acquire this footage either.
