painkillers, not steroids
In case some are confused.

I’m really confused, because the Sherdog article refers to steroids, but the other one says painkillers. Maybe all of the above?

Ah, my bad
I didn’t realize he fought in December and January. Yikes.

Isn't Methadone
what they give to junkies as an alternative to Heroine? Hardcore shit, indeed.

Its also prescribed as pain medication
Its a Schedule 2 drug, will be easy to tell if he had a valid rx or not.

yeah.. .not so much. If you can’t tell dude’s a junkie from looking at him then you’re crazy. Painkiller addicts all look the same in the face to me.
Indeed
I thought it was just me who noticed that

I want to say he had methadone and oxymorphone after the Silva fight.

From the mmafighting.com article posted above :
The 31-year-old Californian returns to the cage this Sunday at UFC on Versus 1 for the first time since the nine-month suspension issued for his methadone and oxymorphone positive test following his loss to Anderson Silva in July 2008.

He looks like a body builder! Cheating in mma is total bull shit. Any guy that gets caught should get banned for life.

Let's see, who would we be banning
Josh Barnett
James Irvin
Sean Sherk
Chris Leiben
Sonnen
Bigfoot
Nick Diaz (cuz we all know how much weed helps your fighting)
Tim Sylvi….you know what? It might be easier to list the fighters who haven’t been caught.

Guys would think twice if the consequences were more than a fine and few month suspension. In my opinion MMA is a lot different than Bonds hitting a ball over a fence with stick or some dude running a foot race. Steroids are not cool when i comes to smashing a competitors face with a fist or elbow.

C'mon, James. Why would you do this to me?
Why would you deny me Irvin/Alexander 2? What did I ever do to you? After all we’d been through together. Even after I got humiliated when I chose you to beat Anderson Silva. Remember that? Remember how good I was to you? C’mon James. C’mon dude.
he probably takes those too.
