Bad Boy Presents Bloody Elbow Radio: UFC 128 Preview, Eddie Wineland, Justin Wilcox

Bloody Elbow Radio, presented by Bad Boy, was live Thursday afternoon to preview UFC 128: Shogun vs. Jones, which will be live Saturday from Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., and is headlined by a UFC light-heavyweight title bout between Mauricio Rua and Jon Jones.

Hosts Matt Bishop, Forrest Lynn and Mike Fagan broke down all the fights on the show, including the main event and the co-feature, a bantamweight bout between Urijah Faber and Eddie Wineland.

Also on the show, Jonathan Snowden checked in with an interview with Wineland to discuss the Faber bout and more. He commented on his two year departure from the WEC after he lost the bantamweight title to Chase Beebe.

"I didn't go on hiatus from fighting. I continued to train and continued to fight. I did experience a spell of vertigo for a while, so I was kinda of battling the dizziness and continued to work out and try to battle through it. I had a couple of local fights and I was still in contact with the WEC and they offered me up Rani Yahya and I took it and unfortunately that didn't go my way."

We also were joined by Strikeforce Challengers 15 headliner Justin Wilcox, who, in addition to discussing his April 1 bout with Rodrigo Damm, talked about the influence Daniel Cormier has as wrestling coach at his gym, American Kickboxing Academy, and let us in on a little inside knowledge.

"He likes us to call him 'Two Time' because he's a two-time Olympian, so he likes to be referred to as two-time. That's Daniel around here. He's great. We always have our team meetings at the end of the day and I was giving him some props. I was like, 'Daniel, I feel like my wrestling is as good as it was when I was in college, if not even getting a little bit better now that you've come along.' He's a great coach and a great athlete as well. AKA, we just have world class guys in every situation here so I don't know why everybody in the world doesn't want to come here and train."

Bloody Elbow Radio returns to the air at approximately 1 a.m. ET/10 p.m. PT to review UFC 128. Join us as we review all the fights that make air and take your calls, e-mails, tweets and comments!
