Slamming your way out of a submission isn't always the best idea.

Kid just wasn’t ready for a guy like Imada.
If it seems like everyone around you is an asshole, you are probably an asshole.
Indeed
The new generation of fighter doesn’t really understand that it’s “Tap or Snap” with a vet like Imada.

Yah after missing out on 100K twice in a row
Imada isn’t letting shit slide.

His impatience is what ultimately did him in. He had Imada stacked, if anything he could of waited it out.

It looks like he tried to tap beforehand and the ref was on the wrong side right before he went for the slam? If so, he should’ve tapped verbally too.
Ya that is weird, it def looks like he taps his leg twice with his hand but that looks like the most non chalant tap I have ever seen and I dont recall someone ever picking someone up and tapping before they slam them (hopefully someone can interview him and find out what happened).

If you follow the Bisping code of fighter ethics, it's worth the 1 point deduction.

I think it’s only a spike when you’re controlling the opponent from an advantageous position (ie. Marqaurdt vs. leties) but if you’re in a sub its just trying to escape (ie. Pelligrino vs. Camoes)
I think this is a murky area as far as the rules are concerned.
That Camoes/Pelligrino headspike was dangrous as fuk I think that particular move should be made illegal.
Someone is gonna get their neck broken like that.
Would it have been legal to hold Imada up, and soccer kick him in the face?
If he’s hanging upside down from your arm, but not on the ground, is he grounded?
Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

Well
technically yes, but it would be extremely difficult to get any kind of power behind that, and keep his balance. Probably not realistic TBH

Just think about the fact
that it would literally be like punting someone… like a 170 lb. football.

That’s fucking genius. Good luck thinking of it in the moment, I guess, but still genius.
What's this war in the heart of nature? Why does nature vie with itself? The land contend with the sea? Is there an avenging power in nature? Not one power, but two?
