Sanchez as a wrestler is supposed to look tempting at that line, but I’m putting a 100 $ on Kampmann – call me a fanboy.

Fanboy betting

Is a great way to lose money.

As a rule of thumb, I never bet on fights involving fighters I have an emotional connection to, positive or negative.

Word.

Lost mad money on even money on Wanderlei vs. Rampage III that way. But I’ve seen Martin train, he’s ready to handle this.

I reckon Kampmann’s a solid bet for sure.

Training ain't fighting

And I feel like Kampmann has a bit of a history of losing the fights he needs to get over the hump as a contender.

You disregard the importance of the striking advantage; except for Shields he’s lost to overwhelming strikers. If he can control the pace and utilize his takedown defense it’s another realm.

He always strikes me as a bit of a front runner who can be broken. I don’t have any factual examples to support this claim, but I just feel that diego will wear him down with top control, while avoiding submission attempts

Thank you UFC fans. My name Stun Gun. I want GSP

What the fuck?!

Alessio is the underdog against someone who’s only had 4 fights? That seems like a damn good bet

Seems like it but rightfully so, he’s coming off a long lay off and Weidman has a lot of hype due to his grappling he’s shown. He’s an excellent wrestler and did very well in Adcc

He’s a beast, and someone that can easily take Sakara out of his comfort zone. I’m a bit surprised it’s that big of a spread, but it’s not a bad line IMO.

Still a Beer Monster.

Weidman is the best prospect in the MW division and a total stud. He should be heavily favored here.

Whoah Paul Harris is deep on a FN undercard… Guess the UFC didn’t like his mid-fight greasing accusations

Sanchez and Dollaway are looking interesting

Kampmann is a gamer, but Diego is going to be bringing the hot fire.

Dollaway in particular

Munoz is being way oversold.

It has to be his phillipino appeal. His wrestling certainly hasnt translated well to mma wrestling

Dollaway's better in the striking department me thinks

He looked good against Goran Reljic. While Munoz has power, if you pick him apart from the outside a la Okami you can tire him and take away his strengths

by Holls Hoyce on Mar 2, 2011 9:53 AM EST up reply actions

munoz striking is oversold

and i woulds say palhares is deep in the under card its just since the merger they’ve had a weird line up as far as the undercard an whom is on it. i wouldn’t say it has much to do with his statements about greasing

Dollaway has the best value here IMO.

Agreed. He’s shown tremendous growth as a fighter since his loss to Lawlor.

Definitely. He has the wrestling to not get ragdolled by Munoz and his striking is a hell of a lot cleaner. Prediction: submission rd3 once Munoz is worn out from throwing too many power airswings.

by MMAussie on Mar 1, 2011 8:27 PM EST up reply actions

I loved how calm and collected he was in his fight against Doerksen. So many fighters, even at the UFC level, would just try to pressure the guillotine constantly and fail – Dollaway showed some great grappling skill.

Did anyone see the Dongi Yang vs Chris Camozzi fight? Never seen it before, just noticed it was a split decision and that it was controversial heh…

C.B and Sakara look like good bets.

Might make a parlay with

Rousimar

Sakara
C.B

Anyone like that?
