Who are the most popular UFC fighters on Twitter based on number of followers? Below is a chart containing the top 10. With the exception of Chuck (who is now VP of Biz Dev or whatever), all of these fighters are currently active. For fun, I also included the number of "Friends" the fighter is following. Because of space limitations, seeing the number of friends isn't always easy unless they have a lot. I was on the fence about whether or not to even include friend counts, but I figured what the hell. Might as well.
A larger, more interactive version of this chart which includes hard numbers for 195 fighters can be viewed on the MMA Pop! blog, where I will be covering social media trends in MMA and the UFC with all kinds of graphs and charts and other fun stuff.

BJ follows everyone for some reason, probably because BJ uses his twitter as a news feed to get people to come to BJPenn.com.

It is BJ when the twitter is talking to friends or other fighters, but the billion tweets and retweets a day that is just like, “Hey, exclusive t-shirt offer on over at BJPenn.com!” it is someone else.
I was in this line of work. It sucks.
I would count it as an accomplishment that you got paid to do an intern’s job.

You are aware that @spilledbagofice is not a UFC fighter. He got on the UFC fighters list after copying the internet meme of Joe Rogan freaking out over the bag of ice spilt in the cage. He was funny at first, but you’d figure he’d change his twitter name by now, that was over a year ago.
