Wow.
He’s so fluent now. It’d be cool if all Japanese fighters can learn English this well….better yet, the Brazillians.
Word
mad props to gono and his english teacher.
Wonder how many fights a vet like Gono still has in him though?
People do not like to think. If one thinks, one must reach conclusions. Conclusions are not always pleasant.

Gono is a crafty vet
But his defense relies heavily on speed and reflexes. If those have become worn with time I can’t see him becoming relevant again
wants a rematch against the guy who literally punted his head halfway across the ring? and i add it only stayed in the ring because it somehow remained attached to the rest of his body. nobody can say Gono lacks testicular fortitude, even though it was a pretty decent fight up until that point.

It’s a weird habit of combat sports fans, fetishizing such horrible brain damage. I do it, too, but I sometimes wonder if we should.

Other then to show Gono’s improved English skills, dunno why you decided to post this. Since this speech, Gono has lost to Jadamba Narantungalag and Hornbuckle has lost to Ben Askren.
