Ahh
Hunt looks like he’s just here for the paycheck. He looks to be in poor shape, even by his standards.
Mark Hunt in poor shape doesn’t make 265.

there was probably 1000 people watching or less, off time for weigh in, not a very strong card, i almost missed the weigh in all together.
what do u mean?
is that why the stream was so good?
BJ Penn
He is not Akihiro Gono on his way out of the UFC
He is not an overrated Paulo Thiago who landed a lucky punch
He is not Mike Pierce making his UFC debut
He is not Ben Saunders stepping up and taking the fight on a few days notice
He is not Thiago Alves coming off of injuries and a 13+ month layoff
He is BJ Penn, and he’s winning this fight.

No
He’s the guy who beat a featherweight who chokes in big fights in Kenny Florian, two TUF hyped never was guys in Diego Sanchez and Joe Stevenson, an aging and long layoff Sean Sherk, and then got dominated twice by a featherweight in Frankie Edgar. He has one meaningful win above 155lbs in his entire career.
See how that works? Yeah.

I mean, BJ WAS nasty at 155...
He is not as young as he was 2 years ago…
These guys are MUCH MUCH faster/quicker than him now…
IF there was a BJ/Frankie 3…
Frankie would probably finish BJ.
Nick Diaz does not like wrestlers just like Rock doesnt like Paper!
That’s absurd. FRANKIE is faster than BJ. That doesn’t mean BJ doesn’t own 99% of lightweights. And taken down at will? You been drinking or something? Get lost with the nonsense, son.

He shoulda got the first decision against Frankie, and just simply lost the rematch. Other than that, he was a menace at 155.

Jon Fitch
He is not a weary Matt Hughes.
He is not Frankie Edgar.
He is not Frankie Edgar.
He is not a chemically unbalanced Diego Sanchez.
He is not a skittish Kenny Florian.
His only loss in his UFC career came to the most dominating champion in UFC history.
He is Jon Fitch, and he’s winning this fight.
Keep Firing, Assholes!
Time to put some meat in your pain sandwich.
This is Jon Fitch's greatest challenge outside of GSP
Outside of his octagon molestation of Ben Saunders, Fitch hasn’t been impressive since losing to GSP. Sure he beat a dehydrated Thiago but still took damage from him in the third round and he used his wrestling to nullify Gono and Paulo Thiago. Mike Pierce on the other hand nearly stole a victory from him. If Fitch wants to win he better pray he could take BJ down, otherwise he may end up looking like he did at the end of the GSP fight. BJ’s takedown defense should be back since he has worked his wrestling not only with Hughes but also with Mike Pierce. Let’s hope both these guys hold nothing back and give us a war we deserve.

There is something amazing about seeing someone who has trained in a hundred different flashy and devastating foreign-sounding techniques of hand to hand combat get pinned to the mat and punched in the face for 15 minutes.

There is something more amazing about seeing someone who has trained in a hundred different flashy and devastating foreign-sounding techniques of hand to hand combat get knocked unconscious in spectacular fashion in (pick a round).
But I’ll agree. Fitch is awesome at what he does.
Well, John Fitch just arrived a year or two Late on the MMA scene...
He is not good…He is GREAT!
Just not entertaining to the average fan…
Even I fell asleep during his fight against Ben Saunders WHILE I WAS IN THE CROWD!
Nick Diaz does not like wrestlers just like Rock doesnt like Paper!
Do you confuse yourself sometimes?
First of all, it’s Jon.
Second, how did he arrive a year or two late on the MMA scene?
Third, are you calling yourself an average fan? “He’s GREAT!” “Just not entertaining to the average fan.” “I fell asleep in the crowd.” WTF?
I agree
I’m a Fitch fan and I’m hoping he just grinds BJ down and takes the victory. Really, Fitch is a lot more active on the ground than some people give him credit for and I’m always impressed by his ability to win. I mean, everyone knows what he’s going to do, but just about none of them can stop it.

Why was Camozzi wearing a mouthpiece to the weigh ins?
And how come Fitch didnt weigh in at 171 like usual?
Florian
brought up yesterday how Fitch’s new diet has caused hm to lose a significant amount of weight.
Conducting an experiment on knocking people out in particular ways would be unethical.
this, Fitch has become 100% vegan and apparently was only walking around at 176, a week before the fight.
there's dicrepencies about whether or not its 100% vegan
but the point is still the same.

You can't be part vegan
You are or you’re not. You can be “part vegetarian,” depending on what you think of fish. Fitch is none of them.

i dont see any limping, even in Nick’s video above. Probably a miss-step from being in baggy jeans sans shoes, you’re bound to have an awkward step or two.
As for jeans, he knows he’s going to make weight. It’s not like he’s Fat BJ anymore.
