Houston Alexander vs. James Irvin Set for Shark Fights 14

Texas based mixed martial arts fight promotion company, Shark Fight Promotions, announced today that the Shark Fights 14 co-main event will feature a highly anticipated re-match between two hard hitting light heavyweights, Houston Alexander and James Irvin. Shark Fights 14 will take place Friday March 11, at the Fair Park Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas.
Houston "The Assassin" Alexander (11-6)
Win Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou - TKO (Punches) SF 13
Win David Griffin - Decision (Unanimous) UFA 1
Loss Joey Beltran - TKO (Punches) 5150 CL
James "The Sandman" Irvin (15-8)
NC Mike Crisman - NC (Illegal Knee to the Head) Gladiator Challenge
Loss Jorge Oliveira - Submission (Triangle Armbar) TPF 7
Win Angel DeAnda - KO (Punch) Rebel Fights
March 3rd, from Lubbock, Texas:
- Matt Horwich (26-17-1) vs. Danillo Villefort (12-3)
- Houston Alexander (11-6) vs. James Irvin (15-8)

Yeah, not sure why they are doing this again, but as long as they get Don Frye and Bas behind the mic again I’ll watch anything they throw at me.

If Villefort beats Horwich, he really should be getting a call from either Strikeforce or the UFC. Before this fight, he beat a very solid fighter in Joey Villasenor and will be on a win streak.
As far as this rematch goes, it could be a slugfest, or it could be a quick KO or TKO like in their first fight.

Add to the fact Villefort took the fight on short notice
AND he was unfairly cut from the UFC after a cut stoppage from an unseen(by the ref, not the cameras) headbutt.
Villafort is a damn good fighter
and Horwich has recent wins over UFC alumnus like Leites, Rosholt, and Lambert. A good win here should get Danillo a call back from the UFC, especially if a middleweight gets injured and Joe Silva needs a short notice replacement.

If you haven't seen a Shark Fights event, you're in for a real treat.
Not only are they capable of putting together a good card, but if they can once again assemble Bas Rutten and Don Frye as the commentary team, i will purchase it for that alone.
anyone else...
even for a second think the horwich – villefort banner was a “before and after” ad for some cybergenics-type product which also threw in, FREE OF CHARGE, free hair styling and grooming services?
