Yeah,
Nick seems like a cool dude and he’s got a good sense of humor. Too bad he had those problems during his TUF season, he would likely have done really well. I’ll be pulling for him against Fukuda.
I really wish the girls would have just come out and ask him if he was gay though, I’m sure a lot of people want to know the answer. Wouldn’t change my opinion of him either way, but it would be interesting to know.
I guess that wouldn’t have been a good idea though. The MMA world doesn’t seem to be ready for a mainstream gay fighter, no matter how far we’ve come along.

He’s not. He’s been asked before and he’s denied it. He just played it up on TUF because he thought it was funny and because he knew it made certain fighters feel awkward.
About that....
I saw in interview he did where he said he didn’t realize how gay he would look on TV.
I didn’t realize how funny that would actually look on camera, but I was just kind of doing my thang.
That said, what he does is his own business, but I ain’t buying it. He rocked that handle mustache too well.

It really doesn’t matter to me, I wouldn’t think any different of him regardless of his sexual preferences. I just wanted to know out of curiosity. I remember reading an article a couple years back about an openly gay MMArtist, but I never heard about him again. Interesting story though.

Not at all.
But you can go anywhere to find out how they’re preparing for their fight, and their training regimine and that kind of stuff. We’re just trying to do something a bit different.
