Bloody hell.

This is excellent. What a lovely treat for a dreary Monday morning, and I have only seen 5 mins so far!

It’s great to see Wanderlei’s English improving too.

Yea

The reason you like it is because you’ve only watched 5 min

This says reality show. I haven’t watched it all but are they planning on getting this televised?

Shut up, Tito.

Wasn’t Wanderlei filming this a year ago? He sure took his time to finish it and put it out there.

Except that

the TUF format is a competition not just between the two teams, but within the team, there can be only one winner.

Wand’s made a camp out of thin air (and a lot of hard work), guys starting from basically scratch, all helping each other get better.

In other words, nothing like TUF at all.

just watched it

Was pretty boring to be honest and its very hard to understand Wandlish.

It’s not bad when he’s not trying to talk while wearing a mouthpiece or head gear.

Didn't like it much.

I don’t like the way it was filmed. The production was horrible. Better then I could do. But that doesn’t say much. Felt like it was a inspiration video to boost people. Fighters were constantly giving the audience pep talks follow your dream talks. Also it never showed the fighters themselves just interviews laced with screen shots.

by Bloodsport on Feb 21, 2011 10:38 AM EST via mobile reply actions

Some editing issues. A bit too long-winded and repetitive in terms of the interviews – I’d rather hear more from the various coaches and their approach to teaching the different aspects of MMA rather than the same speech about heart and warrior spirit over and over.

But I like the prevalence of workout footage, as opposed to the Big Brother:esque travesty that is the Ultimate Fighter.

With the product placement of the Xyience banner and energy drinks does that mean this is sponsored Xyience?

Just BE.

Does this show also teach the fighters how to dodge fights?

by evenflow10 on Feb 21, 2011 1:53 PM EST reply actions

Dodge fights?

I hope I’m wrong but if your insinuating Wandy dodges that’s a moronic comment. If your referring to Stann, I guarantee Wand isn’t afraid.

by Bloodsport on Feb 21, 2011 3:05 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Yeah

A guy that has fought everybody from Rampage to Belfort is scared and dodging Brian Stann.

Honestly,

I’d probably keep watching past five minutes but I can’t understand his English and I’m saying that nicely. If this is going to even come close to being a regular TV show or anything of the sort, they need to subtitle his English. How can anyone around him understand? Everyone’s nodding their heads but I doubt they have a clue what he is saying. Pretty frustrating from a viewer standpoint. I hope this message gets to him somehow. He’s going to need to read this in order for his success for this show.

Yawn.

This is a rambling mess.
