Injury plagued

Herman suffered a knee injury in the first round against simpson. He foolishly came out for a second round and made it much worse. Tim suffered injuries during his training camps..

Short Fuse vs Crazy

From the nicknames, should be a wild fight

This is shaping up to be the nest TUF Finale card in a long time. Three former number one contenders on the same card (albeit two of them were unable to cash in on that distinction)? Where are they even going to put the fights featuring fighters from this season? On the prelims?

by TheRage on Feb 19, 2011 2:02 PM EST reply actions

Recent TUF finales have greatly de-emphasized the use of guys from the current season on the main card. The last couple of TUF finales have been comprised almost entirely of veteran fighters with only the TUF final and maybe one other TUF fight making the televised card.

Jonathan Brookins

Really hope Jonathan has learned a stand up game. Don’t think getting his face beat in is going to be an option. that being said his submission game seems to be on point.

Damned Gingers!

That reminds me.

I just saw the newest Harry Potter film. I thought it was a bit too fake, you know? A ginger kid who has TWO friends?!

I once knew a Ginger Kid named Rusty. The name suited him perfectly.

I knew a Rusty growing up. He didn’t have red hair, but his name was definitely fitting.

I have never met a "Rusty" in my life

Guess that is the price I pay for living in the pacific time zone.

Here in Georgia we got plenty of Rusty’s. Just be glad you don’t have to deal with a “Rusty”.

Hopefully Herman’s new camp works out for him. This is fair matchmaking at its finest. Two guys with nearly a year and a half of cage rust battling one another.

by BrothaDarkness on Feb 19, 2011 3:07 PM EST reply actions

Awesome to see Ed Herman back; the past year and a half has not been kind to him. Hopefully he can rebound and find some success.

by KAN0 on Feb 19, 2011 3:09 PM EST reply actions

Agreed

For all the shit people give Herman over his “Tito didn’t pick me” tantrum on TUF, the guy is rarely in a boring fight. Ditto for Crazy Tim. Should be a spirited scrap.

I liked Credeur in his season of tuf

and his fights since then. Good to see him back and I’ll be rooting for him to take this one

Also didn't really like Herman

and didn’t see a reason for him to get a contract after his fight with Kendall

haha right there with you

I try to keep the negativity dialed down, but Herman… did not endear himself to me. Credeur’s a real cool dude and his fight with Quarry was fucking nuts.

Agreed

I couldn’t remember who it was against, but I might just have to go rewatch it now
