Jose Aldo is the man

now that is out of the way, can any props be given to Soares for making sure his fighters are looking dapper.

I was thinking, “Sucks those guys had to stop and do the prayer right as they were taking out the trash. Why else would they be holding hands with a trash bag?”

He is not a cult icon here in Brazil, on the contrary he is more like a cheesy actor… Anderson or Soares must really like him… I don’t know why the hell he keeps appearing with Anderson, Machida… Tony Jaa would make more sense because of his MT background hehehehe…

having their own youtube channel is a great move

for Blackhouse. They’ve had trouble getting Anderson and Aldo over with the casual fans and showing people their personality may help this.

The guy was born really poor, that’s why he never had a suit before. It has much more to do with the condition under which he was born than with where he was born.

by mmablitzkrieg on Feb 19, 2011 1:12 PM EST up reply actions

Agreed. The whole thing is really endearing.

What a curious thing to see

Aldo clearly never grew up with fancy clothes. What a crack up watching him lose it over trying on a suit. So awesome..

Aldo is just lovable.

Lmao, Aldo is pure awesomeness.

Great look into the true martial arts nature of Anderson Silva and Blackhouse as well.

Status update for Facebook...

This is what I just updated with a link to the video…“Jose Aldo a dude that grew up in the Amazon playing soccer, now featherweight champion and ranked top 3 p4p in the world. His amusement and humbleness in buying his first suit is so refreshing…”

I wish they had english subtitles

The Aldo thing was hilarious just wish I could understand him

by rscott94 on Feb 19, 2011 12:22 PM EST via mobile reply actions

It's most just him laughing

He makes a dick joke when the guy is taking his measures (“I’m the famous three legs”) and asks Ed Soares when “the prom” is going to be.

I think Steven start going downhill as soon as Chael started calling him out

Or maybe he learned a thing or two from the Latino Chael

Blackhouse fighters are so good they can just

start their own MMA promotion. If JDS wins, and Machida somehow gets his hand on that title again, they’ve got a shot to hold all the titles.

Since it required Machida and JDS to win their fights, i assumed that he was talking about the UFC titles, not the fantasy BlackHouse titles. So please tell me how i am missing everything?

Not as far as i know.

Nice videos. I guess Ed is trying to promote his brand. I heard that a documentary about Anderson Silva (leading to Chael Sonnen fight) is on the way. Don’t know when, if they will distribute it for the mainstream, but they are hoping to get it on Sundance.
