MMA Live is the best produced MMA show
or most professional. Anik is good host. smooth and knowledgeble. Militech is strong as analyst but he suffers from the ‘pro’ syndrome: never gush like a fan, always act like you seen it all. Militech continuously refers to Silva’s brutal ko kick as something that ‘no one does in sparring.’ almost as if to imply that Silva was guilty of somewhat dirty tricks because Belfort was not expecting it.
also, funny how Forest’s win got almost zero mention in subsequent stories about 126.
as for the great jon jones, i like jones anyway, but I really like him when he is dead serious. when he laughs like 23 yr old kid as he does here in this video, he looks more cute and adorable. That’s great for those grandmothers he will surely begin to drag to MMA but for me, I like the hangdog eyes, mouth turned down, deep matrix look he gets before a fight. That’s the look of a guy who would cut your heart out without breaking sweat.
one last thing, being that most MMA fans are guys, and most guys like women, why can’t one of these MMA shows ever successfully mix the two?? you can’t tell me MMA Live wouldn’t be much more interesting with a couple of bikini scenes of some hot chick??

Antonio Silva's strategy
= Keep defenses up at all times, push Fedor up against the cage like Rogers, break off with a big elbow strike to the face.
Rinse and repeat until Fedor gets cut to the point where the fight has to be stopped.
