That fiasco where Diaz got a title shot, then missed a press conference, so Condit got a shot at the belt, then rescheduled it, but then took it away from him and gave it back to Diaz was ridiculous. That entire "I have never met someone so disrespectful in my life" thing was so fake and contrived too.

I don't know if people's opinions on the match-making really matter but I've seen posters on this site claim Diaz didn't deserve the title shot as much as Condit did in the first place anyway and vice versa. Now we get an amazing match where whoever comes out on top has truly earned their shot at the real title and they'll have an interim title so there will be no more changes due to beauty pageants or disrespectfulness.

This is an awesome fight, I was hoping we'd see this fight by the end of 2012 after Diaz made GSP tap to strikes and Condit knocked out Koscheck... but now we get it a little early. I honestly can't wait to see what the line on this looks like, I don't know who to bet on.
