Does Silva have all 4 limbs and a pulse?
if so, this is pretty easy to answer!

nobody in mw division is on silva level
Bisping would get ate up like the rest before him.

Agreed, and I don't like how Bisping was fading the fans at the weigh-ins.

Some ‘fans’ need to get a grip. If you stand yelling insults and boos at a guy who’s dehydrated and pissed off, expect a bit of abuse back now and again.
Now you're the one fading the fans.
Face it, you’re just not on their level.

Ryo Chonan is the master of unfadability.

Nah
Ryo has been faded 12 times already, I think it’s safe to say that 2011-2012 Andy would starch the shit out of Chonan.
Anderson Silva, Edson Barboza, Jose Aldo, Charles Oliveira, Thiago Alves = Muay Thai wrecking machines!

is this a serious question???
In what area of the cage is bisping able to do any damage to silva??
by benten20 on Dec 5, 2011 10:04 AM EST via mobile reply actions
depends on the configuration
in the Dave & Busters version of the Octagon there was a slick spot near the blue corner where Bisping had a real good feeling that if Anderson slipped and fell he could make some hay.

Cote had ridiculous ko power so he had the lucky punch going for him. Maia has insane bjj and Anderson wanted no part of it so ground game was not in silvas favor. Same for leites, and okami actually is a top level fighter as he actually beat some top ten guys.

Okami doesn’t possess a single skill that could put Anderson in danger of losing a fight, as evidenced by their recent fight. Leites and Maia could theorically sub Anderson, but they’re striking sucks too much to even be able to drag Anderson down to the mat… As for Cote, he actually did the best of these 4 against Anderson, and up until he blew his knee, it was a decent fight, IMO. But Bisping is a much more complete fighter than Cote, a lot more skilled, bigger, stronger, and better cardio than most in the division… I’m not saying Bisping would beat Anderson, but he’d have a better chance at it than the other 4 I mentionned, IMO.

okami
Was a legitimate contender while bisping is not. Whether he had the skills to beat Anderson is another story altogether. Cote had success cuz of his one punch ko power which silva was wary of which allowed cote to take advantage of that and hang with silva. Maia and leites as you admitted could sub silva. Bisping on the other hand has a boxing centered attack supported by his tdd and cardio. Problem is he will get owned by silva because he has no power compared to hendo cote marquart franklin etc. And silva has nothing to worry about in regards to a ko punch. He’s faster then Bisping a way better striker and a bjj black belt so I doubt he’s worried bout the ground game at all. There’s nothing for Bisping to offer silva and I think those four you mentioned were bigger threats that had a chance against silva.

Bisping is a better striker than all of those above… by that alone, he has a better shot at Anderson than the others.
nobody is able to hang with silva striking! the only chance is a ko punch whih cote had or a superior ground game. bisping cannot hang wih silva striking and cant ko him and wont outgrapple him. therefore bisping does not have a better chance

I disagree
Maia and Leites, on paper, had the grappling to deal with Anderson on the mat, where he has historically been vulnerable
