Ed Herman will look to continue his impressive run since he returned from injury when he faces off with Clifford Starks at UFC 143. The UFC confirmed the info via tweet earlier today. The bout is likely to take place on the undercard of the event, currently scheduled for February 4th in Las Vegas.
Herman (19-7) has won two bouts in a row since coming back from a 21-month layoff due to a knee injury. He stopped Tim Credeur by TKO in 48 seconds at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale in June, then returned just six weeks later and stopped Kyle Noke with a heel hook in the first round at UFC on Versus 5. He holds a 6-5 mark in the UFC overall.
Starks is undefeated at 8-0, and won his UFC debut over Dustin Jacoby at UFC 137 in October. He was a former NCAA wrestler at Arizona State University.
