MMA History for the Holidays
For Boxing Day, a celebration of Britain's feudal past, I thought I'd share my aging MMA History series. I wasn't as diligent as planned in 2011, didn't add any installments, but I swear I'll do more this year!
Read a few you might learn something!
II: The Ur-Brazilian MMA Feud: BJJ vs Luta Livre and the Style They Never Saw Coming
IV: Rickson Brings Jiu Jitsu Back to Japan
VIII: From Russia With Leglocks
XI: Carlson Gracie's Mighty Camp
XII: End of the UFC Glory Days
XV: Pancrase, RINGS, and Shooto 1996
XVIII: The Losses of Luta Livre
XVI: Rico Chiapparelli and the RAW Team
XIX: The Humbled PRIDE of Nobuhiko Takada
XX: Kazushi Sakuraba and Frank Shamrock Emerge at Ultimate Japan

Nice one Nate, i loved this series. The rivalry between the Lions Den and Tank Abbott has never had much coverage, it was the origin of the mainstream Tito and Ken feud but happened before the Zuffa era and has never been explored.
Just looking at Kens physique vs Royce, Taktarov and Severn, it seems like he was really going hard on the steroids and would have atomised a piss test in todays MMA.
