Ivan Menjivar will look to continue his ascent up the bantamweight ladder at the inaugural UFC on Fuel event in February. And he'll face a TUF quarter-finalist at the event. Sherdog has the info:

The UFC on Fuel 1 fight card continued to develop Tuesday, as promotion officials announced that veteran Ivan Menjivar will square off with "The Ultimate Fighter 14" cast member John Albert at the Feb. 15 event.

Menjivar was last seen in the octagon at UFC 133, where he defeated Nick Pace by close-but-unanimous decision. Unfortunately he was unable to make weight for that bout though, which is probably why he's facing an opponent a little lower down the ladder this time out. Albert made his official UFC debut in style, knocking out Dustin Page in 69 seconds at The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale last month.
