As MMA begins the mainstream era it seemed fitting that the sport received the proper treatment of a transaction wire. I thought starting with June would be a good point of reference and would give the community a chance to scrutinize the content, and offer suggestions as far as layout and what details should be included.

At this point I chose to stick mainly with the prominent North American organizations, but included fighters of name recognition who have signed with regional or international promotions. MMA contracts often cover only one appearance, may be non-exclusive, and can be part of a co-promotional affair. Unless the fighter is signed by the UFC, Strikeforce, or Bellator, the chances are the contract is either undefined or murky at best. Any advice, additions, or changes would be greatly appreciated.
